We are a dynamic, growing, not for profit early childhood program
serving children birth to age five in New York City. We are committed
to excellence in the treatment and education of young children. We
provide an array of services including special education, early
intervention and early childhood mental health services. Services are
provided to children in our preschool classrooms, in our satellite
clinical offices, in day care centers and other community facilities, and
in the children's homes. Manhattan Center works closely with graduate
academic programs in child development, psychology, special
education and related health and educational services. We act as a
crossroads between current academic thought and best clinical
practice and place great emphasis on staff development while serving
as a training and externship site for local universities.
